Ribs are excellent along with mac n cheese.
The sauce is top notch too!

Dont like how you have to go up and order though

Delicious food. Not bad priced, and served quick.
Get the corn bread and Mac & cheese as sides.
I come here every once in a while living nearby

umm we loved Archie's Barbeque!!! It was fabulous we went (really my husband) went three times while we in deep creek for labor day weekend.  The last two times he went we just did the brisket sandwich with the ghost pepper bbq sauce. It's what you want definitely. The customer service each time we went was great.  The first night we went was friday about 20 minutes before they closed (sorry about that) even still they were super friendly and allowed us to take our time to view the menu, and place our order.  Thank you so much for your awesome service and even better food. Looking forward to our next trip to visit you guys.

Five stars - a must on your next trip to Deep Creek!!

We saw this advertised in a few tourist guides so we decided to go for lunch. I didn't expected it to be a little divey inside but instead, it is like stepping into a log cabin with rustic metal decor and big iron chandeliers! I was very impressed at how cute and clean it is inside- id recommend eating inside!

There's a host stand where you are seated with menus. Once you've made your choice, you head up to the counter to place your order & pay. Then everything is brought right to your table.

My boyfriend and I like to sample a little bit of everything, so we got a pulled pork sandwich w/ cole slaw topping ($1 extra), the Squealin' rib sandwich, a side of French fries and a side of meaty baked beans.

The pulled pork sandwich was excellent and the French fries were crunchy and seasoned perfectly. The baked beans were full of meat, a great portion size, & tasted so fresh and delicious- they were outstanding! The Squealin' rib sandwich, however, was out of this world! I have never had a pulled rib sandwich, and man have I been missing out!! It was soft with  caramelized ends with a bit of crunch, tossed in a delicious BBQ sauce. It is a must try!!

At most BBQ joints, there might be a few good items, with the rest being "just ok". This place is remarkably different- everything was fresh, tender, and full of flavor. There's a ton of love and care that goes into the food & it really shows on the plate. Yes, you're paying a bit more for the quality but you also get great portions- our sandwiches were stacked high with meat, with some falling off onto the plate. It is top notch BBQ that IMO is worth every penny!

    Check this place out!!!

Pulled In for lunch.  Four people $51.00.  Three plates for that price.  Sides are expensive and small. Corn bread is solid.  Brisket sliced thin and lacked smoke.  Also a little dry.  Pork sandwich has no smoke as well. Tasty but not bbq.  $2.50 for a fountain drink.  No house made tea and that makes bbq legit.  Seemed more like a chain joint.  You have to order your food at the counter as there is no waitress service for ordering.
